International Day 2005/06 at The English College in Prague

Aim: To highlight the multi-national and multi-cultural atmosphere that we are proud to have at The English College and to provide the students with more knowledge about individual nations that are represented at the College.

Fulfilment: Each tutor group (from years 1, 2, 4 and possibly 5) will be given one nationality which is represented at the English College; the tutor groups are then going to prepare a short (maximum 5 min.) presentation which is going to be presented at one of the 2 assemblies which will take place on Wednesday, 31st May and Wednesday, 7th June 2006. The presentation should be done in some intelligent and humorous style. The best presentation will be chosen by a Commission made up of Student Council representatives, teachers and other members of staff.

Merit: The victorious tutor group is going to be awarded with a day-out of school. The day-out may have some educational purposes in order to comply with the standards that are required by the Czech School Laws.
